2014 Season Is Underway


Watertown Youth Baseball and Softball has opened it's registration for the Spring Leagues. To register visit www.wybb.org. While Spring registration is on going, Winter clinics are taking place. The clinics, being held at Extra Innings on Parker Street, are for pitching, hitting and fielding. Currently there are more than 89 boys and girls taking part and there are still more clinics to come.

   Jenn was a 4 year starting pitcher at Bryant University, which competed in the Division 1 Northeast Conference. She was named Pitcher and Player of the week during her Sophomore campaign as well as being named NFCA All-American Scholar Athlete all four years she attended Bryant. She is currently a marketing intern at Northeastern Athletics as well as the pitching coach at Suffolk University. Jenn graduated from Bryant University in 2013 where she received her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in Marketing with a dual minor in Psychology and Communication.
   As a student-athlete, Lauren was 4-year starter in the outfield at Bryant University, which competed in the Division 1 Northeast Conference, and was named a team captain before her junior year season. As a senior, Lauren received the Bulldog Award, voted by teammates and the coaching staff, and the OmarShareef Spirit Award, the only award voted on by the student-athlete population. This was chosen for the traits of outgoing, adaptable, sincere, athletic achievement and spirit. Offensively, Lauren finished her college career ranked in the Bryant Record Book top ten for total games played, games started, at-bats, hits, total bases, homeruns and RBI. In the outfield, she finished with only four errors in over 110 attempts, along with nine assists. She was also named to the NFCA Academic Honor Roll. A 2012 graduate from Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island. She is currently achieving her Master's Degree in School Counseling, at Suffolk University in Boston, with a Certificate in College Admissions Counseling. Lauren is a first-year, Graduate Assistant Coach of the Women’s Softball team at Suffolk University.
