Watertown Town Council President Debate

The public is invited to attend an evening with the candidates for the Watertown Town Council President Mark Sideris and Clyde Younger on Thursday from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. in the Coolidge School auditorium, 319 Arlington Street Watertown.

Local Band “The Flo” Rock Out at Perkins

Boston-based rock group The Flo performs a free concert at Perkins School for the Blind on Tuesday at 7 p.m. Be there as the high-energy performers bring the house down on Perkins’ historic Dwight Hall stage. Find out more here

Scarecrow Contest at the Watertown Mall

The 22nd Annual Scarecrow Contest begins Monday at the Watertown Mall. Have your group work together to create a unique Scarecrow! The contest is free to enter and is open to any individual, family, group, school, class, business or organization. Winners get a gift certificate. See more here.

Jazz @ The Arsenal

JAZZ @ The Arsenal presents jazz vocalist Jan Shapiro with the John Baboian Guitar Trio in a tribute to the great Ella Fitzgerald and guitarist Joe Pass, a night of swing standards and laid-back renditions of “Our Love is Here to Stay,” “Don’t Be That Way” and many others Ella and Pass made popular in duo and big band format.
