'Imagining Madoff,' Scottish Dance, WHS Basketball

Take a look at what's going on in Watertown this week.

"Imagining Madoff" at Arsenal Center

The New Rep Theatre's production of "Imagining Madoff" will be on the Arsenal Center for the Arts stage this week on Monday at 7:30 p.m., Thursday at 7:30 p.m. and Friday at 8 p.m. In the play, the audience witnesses imagined jail conversations between Ponzi schemer Bernie Madoff and Solomon Galkin, a poet and Holocaust survivor. Get play tickets here.

Scottish Dance at Canadian American Club

Boston Scottish dancing every Monday Night at 7 p.m. upstairs at the Canadian American Club. Workshop also during the night if you would like to come and  learn. This is a great night to dance and enjoy the Scottish dance and culture. Check out the club's website for more details and information.

WHS Sports 

Watertown High School's boys basketball team hosts Burlington on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. and Friday night the girl's basketball team hosts Stoneham at 7 p.m.

Kindergarten Yoga

Jump! Stretch! Pose like animals! A children’s librarian will lead your kindergarteners in a brief introduction to yoga. Mats are provided on a on a first-to-arrive basis on Monday at 3:30 p.m. For ages 4 to 6. No registration.

Baton Twirling Classes

The Recreation Department hosts baton twirling classes starting on Tuesday. Participants will learn marching, 
basic twirling skills and dance moves.  Focus is on hand-eye coordination, 
rhythm, and teamwork. Spring session participants will learn a routine for 
the parade. Classes for pre-K to 8th grade. Click here for times of classes for different grade level.
