Tree Lighting Ceremony, Free Holiday Concert, Commander's Mansion Open House

Watertown Tree Lighting Ceremony

The Watertown-Belmont Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Watertown present the second annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday at the Watertown Square Delta (the grassy area near the bus stop). Santa Arrives at 5:15 p.m. and lights go on at 5:30 p.m. A reception follows at Watertown Savings Bank, 60 Main Street, Watertown Square. Light refreshments will be served. Parking will be available at Watertown Savings Bank after 5 p.m.

Chorus pro Musica Holiday Concert at Perkins

Boston’s premiere vocal ensemble, Chorus pro Musica, will perform their 27th annual holiday concert at Perkins School for the Blind on Monday at 7 p.m., the superb Chorus pro Musica and Perkins Secondary Chorus join together to sing joyous, seasonal classics that the entire family will enjoy. The community event is free and wheelchair accessible. 

Commander's Mansion Holiday Open House

On Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., browse at your leisure throughout both floors of the decorated mansion courtesy of the Home Depot of Watertown and enjoy a cup of hot cocoa with a sweet treat provided by Bakers’ Best, Russo’s and Watertown Dunkin Donuts/Riverside Management Group! Santa will be onsite from 4-6 p.m. for a photo op (bring your camera) courtesy of Watertown Savings Bank! Find out more here.

School Committee Meets

The School Committee meets Monday night at 7 p.m. in Town Hall. The agenda includes recognition of retiring School Committee members and celebration of the Watertown High School field hockey team's state title. See the whole agenda here.
