A Weekend Full of Art at the Watertown Open Studios

See art created by local artists this weekend at locations around Watertown.

Art will come alive this week during the fourth annual Watertown Open Studios.
Artwork, song, dance and more can be seen and heard at locations around town.

On Saturday and Sunday, group shows and activities will be located at 268 Arlington St., Watertown at Turtle Studios and 319 Arlington St. Watertown at The Apartments at Coolidge School.

Arsenal Center for the Arts is also planning special events for the weekend. The Small Works Show will be on display and Dawn Scaltreto will have painting demonstrations at 1 p.m., Saturday, Still Life Watercolor and Sunday, Landscape in Acrylic.

Catch the film "Who Does She Think She Is?" that features five women artists, including Turtle Studio artist, Camille Musser. It will be showing throughout the weekend at the Apartments at Coolidge School.

Coolidge Apartments will also host special performances: 

  • Saturday, 11 a.m. - Step Dancers
  • Sunday, 2 p.m. - The Revels 
Other exhibitions will be held at the Watertown Free Public Library, at Art Relief (818 Mt. Auburn St.), as well as 15 Everett Ave., 6 Orchard St., and 51 Water St. Suite 206.
