Brunch with the Author of WOOL, Food Truck Fest, Kids Arts Workshops

Here's a look at some things going on in Watertown this weekend.

1. Grab Brunch with the author of this year's One Book, One Watertown title, "WOOL." Hugh Howley will be at the library, and food will be provided by Deluxe Town Diner. The brunch is at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, followed by a book signing at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday At 3 p.m. Saturday, Howley will talk about the process of writing, along with all the other things you’ll need to master in order to reach your reader at a workshop called So You Want to be an Author. 2. Head across the Charles River to Brighton's Artesani Park for the Food Truck Festival on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. See more details here

3. The Arsenal Center for the Arts presents art workshops for kids on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon. Click here for more information.

4. Bring the family to Artitude, a free outdoor art festival in Belmont's Cushing Square on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Find out more here

5. Cyclists can join in the Hub on Wheels bicycle celebration in Boston on Sunday. The ride starts and finishes on City Hall Plaza in downtown Boston, with a 10-, 30- and 50-mile route options. Find out more here.
