TV, comic and other stars will be in Framingham this weekend as part Super Megafest, New England's Celebrity Pop Culture Fan Fest!

Movie, super heroes, music and wrestling stars will be in Framingham this weekend as part of Super Megafest, New England’s premiere Celebrity
Pop Culture Fan Fest.
This year’s event will feature Hollywood icons & celebrities (including Watertown's Eliza Dushku), rock and roll, science fiction and wrestling legends. There will also be comic artists attending.
Super Megafest takes place Saturday, Nov. 23 from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 24 from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Sheraton Framingham Hotel. Ticketed admission required.
Among the stars expected in Framingham include Barbara Eden, best known for her starring role as Jeannie in the classic television series I Dream of Jeannie. Bill Daily, who played astronaut Roger Healey, from the show, will also be a part of Super MegaFest.
Others expected to make appearances include:
- Christopher Lloyd: Doc Brown from Back to the Futuremovies.
- Tom Felton: Known for his role of Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter film series.
- Eliza Dushku: Faith on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and its spinoff series Angel.
- John Heder: from Napolean Dynamite.
- Manu Bennett: Spartacus, The Hobbit and Arrow.
- Ray Park: known as Darth Maul and Snake Eyes
- Karen Allen: known for her role as Marion Ravenwood in Raiders of the Lost Ark and Indiana Jones
- Josh Sussaman: who portrays Jacob Ben Israel on Glee!
- Bronson Pinchot: Balki Bartokomous on the ABC sitcomPerfect Strangers
- Elvira: Mistress of the Dark
- Larry Storch: known for his role of Corporal Agarn on the TV series F-Troop
- Ron Moss: recognized for his role of 25 years portraying Ridge Forrester on The Bold And The Beautiful
- Frank Avruch: Boston's own Bozo the Clown
- Carrol Spinney: original one and only for playing Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch on Sesame Street
- Mia St. John: five-time World Boxing Champion and Playboy cover model.
The stars will be signing autographs and doing Q & A sessions with fans throughout the day.
Comic artists include:
- Ethan Van Schiver, best known for illustrating a number of titles including Green Lantern, Superman/Batman, New X-Men, and The Flash: Rebirth.
- Al Plastino, best known as one of the most prolific Superman artists of the 1950s
- Paul Ryan, who worked extensively for Marvel Comics and DC Comics on a number of super-hero comics including DP7, Fantastic Four, Spiderman, Batman, Flash, Superman and the Phantom.
- John Hebert: X-Men Adventures, Punisher, Deathlok and current Captain Action artist
- Greg Larocque: Spider-man, The Avengers, Justice League, Legion of Super-Heroes, & the Flash
- Jose Delbo: main artist on Wonder Woman
- Hannibal King: former Magic: The Gathering artist for Wizards of the Coast and worked on comics ranging from Grendel for old Comico to Marvel's Excaliber to DC's Green Arrow.
- Jamal Igle: Green Lantern, G.I. Joe, Martian Manhunter and Supergirl .
There will also be a dealers room full of the hottest collectibles, gifts, toys, comics, movie posters, and trading cards from the 1960s to today!
Tickets can be purchased in advance at Bedrock Comics in Framingham.
Tickets will be more at the door - $25 per day or $30 for the weekend adult and $7 per day children under age 12 or $10 for the weekend.
