Santa Arrives, Public Skating, Thanksgiving Service

Here are a few things going on this weekend in Watertown.

1. Santa arrives at the Arsenal Mall on Saturday at 11 a.m. Also enjoy music of the Mistle Tones and the balloon creations by Daisy the Clown, along the hot chocolate, glitter tattoos and coloring books for kids. The event runs until 1 p.m.

2. Skate at the John A. Ryan Arena from 4:15 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. on Saturday and 2:45 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. on Sunday.

3. Drop in to the Watertown Library and meet other Lego enthusiasts at play. The event, Saturday at 10:15 a.m., is for grades K to 5. No registration.

4. The Church of the Good Shepherd will celebrate all good gifts and enjoy traditional songs of the season at its Service of Thanksgiving on Sunday at 10 a.m. All are welcome, of all ages and backgrounds, for this special day of gratitude. See more here.

5. The  Social Justice Ministry of the St. Joseph/St. Luke Collaborative hosts
"Every Captive Free." The story follows one young woman's journey into the "life" of human sexual traffficking and her survival through a personal narrative and in collaboration with the Agape Arts Collaborative, a dance collective. Find out more here.
