Man Reportedly Attacked by Two Men While Walking Down Main Street in Watertown
Two men crossed the street to attack the man.
Two men reportedly attacked a man as he walked down Main Street in Watertown just before midnight on Jan. 13. The 39-year-old man told police he was walking on Main Street near French Street at 11:55 p.m. when he was attacked, said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn. "He was walking westbound on Main Street when two white males crossed the street and attacked him," Lawn said. "They pulled his jacket over his head and began to punch him." The two men then ran away on Main Street, toward Watertown Square, Lawn said. The man did not get a good look at his attackers, so he could not provide more of a description, Lawn said. "He said he had no idea who they were," Lawn said.
