Watertown's Hurley Named NESCAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week

The Bowdoin College sophomore scored and average of 16 points in two wins.

The following information was provided by Bowdoin College: Bowdoin sophomore Bryan Hurley of Watertown, has been named as the New England Small College Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week. Hurley, who attended Boston College High School, recorded 16.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game in a 2-0 week for the Polar Bears. The guard scored a team-high 17 points in his team's dramatic 74-70 victory at Bates on Thursday. With the game knotted at 70-70 in overtime, he converted a bank-shot runner with 14 seconds left to give the Polar Bears the lead for good.
