Trio from Watertown Will Continue Their Athletic Careers in College [Video]

The high school celebrated three of its athletes who signed letters of intent to play sports in college.

For many athletes, high school graduation means the end of competitive sports, but three Watertown High School seniors will take their game to the next level.  Field hockey players Alyssa Carlson and Lauren Sutherland and lacrosse player Danny Loprete signed letters of intent to play in college. On Thursday they were honored with a ceremony at the school attended by family, coaches and friends (see the video to the right to see some of the action). Carlson will head to Northeastern in the fall, where she will be reunited with her sister Katie, a current sophomore on the Huskies' field hockey team. "It's going to be fun," Carlson said.
