Connecticut Woman Caught Stealing $100s Worth of Golf Balls in Watertown

The store received a tip about a pair stealing from another branch of the store.

Watertown Police arrested a Connecticut woman who allegedly stole hundreds of dollars worth of golf balls from Golf Town, and a second woman also faces charges connected to the incident. Employee at store in the Arsenal Mall received a warning that the Golf Town in Bellingham had been hit by shoplifters. The suspects were described as two women in their early 20s in a red Honda with Connecticut license plates, said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn.  On Feb. 14 at 6:36 p.m. Golf Town's manager called police because of a suspicious customer. "They had just observed a woman fitting the description enter the store and leave and get into a red car," Lawn said. Employees discovered eight cases of golf balls were missing, worth $400, Lawn said. …
