PHOTOS: Watertown Football Team Dominates Randolph in Home Opener

The Raiders beat the Blue Devils 42-16, with quarterback Joey Farrar throwing three touchdowns in the victory.

Watertown High School jumped out to an early lead against Randolph and won the first home football game of the year 42-16 on Friday night. Senior running back Logan Riley's 55-yard run on the first offensive play of the game set the tone for Watertown. The Raiders improved their record to 3-0 with the non-league win. Senior quarterback Joey Farrar three three touchdown passes before halftime, two to junior Matt Donnell and one to junior T.J. Hairston, to give the Raiders a 27-8 lead.  The defense also got in on the scoring when sophomore Jared Grillo returned a fumble for a touchdown, according to the report from the Boston Globe. Next week, the Raiders host Archbishop Williams on Friday night at 7 p.m. at Victory Field.

Farrar, Riley lead Watertown's Football Team to 2-0 Start with a Win on Saturday

Boston Herald calls the Raiders football team a "Two-Headed Monster" after beating Shawsheen Valley Tech.

Senior quarterback Joey Farrar and running back Logan Riley teamed up to power the Watertown High School football team to its second win, with a 34-19 victory at Shawsheen Valley Tech on Saturday. The duo's performance caught the eye of the Boston Herald, which dubbed the team a "two-headed monster."  Farrar completed 23 of 26 passes for 321 yards in the win up in Billerica, according to the Herald, and Riley scored three touchdowns, two running and one on a pass from Farrar. This week, the Raiders play their home opener against Randolph at 7 p.m. on Friday at Victory Field. For the full Boston Herald article go here.
