Boston Woman Caught Allegedly Stealing Items from Arsenal Mall Store

The woman was caught with a purse full of items from Claire's Boutique.

  A woman went into Claire's Boutique at the Arsenal Mall and allegedly tried to walk out of the store with a purse full of merchandise. Police went to the mall on Jan. 12 at 8:22 p.m. when mall security stopped a 20-year old Boston woman was caught shoplifting, said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn. "She placed items in her purse and she was stopped by security," Lawn said. "Inside the purse she had $299 worth of assorted merchandise."  Rachel Marisa Andrisse, 20, of 278 Humbolt St. Apt. 11 in Boston, was arrested on a charge of shoplifting by concealing merchandise of over $100.

What a lovely mall, makes me want to go there, NOT. Also, lots of cars stolen from the parking lot all the time. Too bad the No Walmart people didn't protest when this was built. I don't think Walmart wouldn't have been half as bad as the mall   more ›

Waltham Woman Allegedly Tried to Steal Merchandise from Stop & Shop

Woman tried to take more than $500 worth of merchandise from the Pleasant Street supermarket.

A Waltham woman faces larceny charges after security at Stop & Shop spotted a her placing a number of items in a bag and try to leave the store without paying. Jessica Cesar allegedly took items worth a total of $534.98 into a bag at the Pleasant Street location of Stop & Shop, and when she tried to leave store security stopped her, said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn. "When they confronted her she ran," Lawn said.  Police arrived and found Cesar near the entrance to the parking lot, Lawn said.  Jessica M. Cesar, 25, of 11 Gardner St. Apt. 3 in Waltham, faces a charge of larceny of over $250, Lawn said.

Watertown Police Catch Shoplifter Who Tried to Evade Arrest by Fleeing on Arsenal Street

The man allegedly spotted taking clothing and putting them in an empty backpack before attempting to leave without paying.

Watertown Police caught a man suspected of shoplifting from the Arsenal Mall as he tried to escape along Arsenal Street on the evening of Nov. 16. Security from Marshalls spotted a man and woman come into the store, and the man – identified later as Michael Frederick Kane – carried a back pack that appeared to be an empty, said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn. “Security observed Kane place multiple sweaters into the backpack and the female put socks inside,” Lawn said. “They exited the store without paying for them and the alarm went off.” When security approached the couple, the woman ran off into the mall, Lawn said, and the man walked away toward Arsenal Street. 3 Arrested in Shoplifting Ring at Arsenal Mall

Police spotted trio putting stolen clothes in the back of a car in the mall parking lot.

A trio of shoplifters were busted when Watertown Police detectives who happened to be at the Arsenal Mall spotted them acting suspiciously, said Police Lt. Michael Lawn. Detectives were in the mall parking lot on March 16 at 3:09 p.m. investigating another case when they saw a man acting suspiciously. A man identified as Dwayne Randolph, was seen standing beside a car, looking all around, as he stood next to a green Toyota Camry, then went in the car to grab something and then ran into the mall, Lawn said. The detectives stuck around and watched the car. "An hour later a female, identified as Monique Hinton, exited the mall carrying a shopping bag, open the trunk of the car and placed the bag in the trunk," Lawn said. "Then Randolph and …

17-Year Old Arrested Twice Last Week

Watertown resident faces shoplifting charges and had an arrest warrant.

A 17-year-old Watertown man was arrested twice this week in separate incidents, said Police Lt. Michael Lawn. On Jan. 4, a man was seen leaving Target with a box of merchandise without paying. Security called police at 5:17 p.m. Police tried to stop the man as he left the Watertown Mall, but he ran, Lawn said. He ran through shoppers and cars in the parking lot. Eventually he stopped, and police arrested Daniel Edward Reilly, 17, of 14 Green St., who had a box of Mars bars worth $9.99, Lawn said. Reilly was arrested on charges of shoplifting and disorderly conduct. On Jan. 7 at 6:56 a.m., police went to Green Street to serve a warrant. They found that Reilly had an warrant from juvenile court, Lawn said, and he was arrested.

Two men arrested for shoplifting at Target, woman caught stealing jeans at Filene's Basement.

Arrests Police arrested two men on Dec. 30 at 5:44 p.m. for shoplifting at Target. Store security spotted two men taking the tags and security devices off of merchandise, Lawn said. They attempted to leave buying only a pair of socks, but they were stopped and had $204.40 worth of clothing and electronics. Chad Thomas Grimshaw, 29, of 1053 Tremont St. Apt. 43 in Boston, was arrested on a charge of shoplifting of items worth more than $100 by concealment. Edwin Roldan Jr., 29, who lives at the same address, was charged with shoplifting and also was found to have arrest warrants for larceny out of Somerville and Weymouth district courts. The driver of a 1992 Toyota Camry stopped by Watertown Police on Dec. 28 at 5:40 p.m., was found to have …
