Watertown Boys' Soccer Team Rolls Past Ipswich in the State Tourney

The Raiders won 4-1, and advanced to the North Div. 3 Section semifinals. Field hockey team plays Friday.

  The Raiders' soccer team rolled over Ipswich Tuesday night, sending Watertown High School on to the MIAA Div. 3 North Section semifinals. Watertown's run through the state tournament continued with the 4-1 win over No. 14 seed Ipswich (9-7-4) at Victory Field. The No. 6 seed Raiders improved their record to 12-2-6.  The Raiders move on to face Newburyport on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at Manning Field in Lynn. Newburyport, the No. 10 seed, comes in with a record of 11-6-2 record and defeated No. 7 seed Tech Boston and No. 15 seed Lynnfield to get to the section semifinal.
