Man With Watertown Connection Involved in Waltham Shooting Captured in Boston

Waltham Police had been searching for a man involved in an armed home invasion on Dec. 7.

  UPDATED, 3:55 p.m. with more information from the Waltham Police Department:  Waltham Police have charged Andre Laventure, 26, of Manchster, NH, formerly of Watertown, and Cameron Fournier, 24, of 25 Rack Rd., Chelmsford with crimes in connection with an armed home invasion on Dec. 8.  Laventure faces the following charges: two counts of kidnapping, three counts of attempted murder, carrying a firearm without a license, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a home and home invasion. Fournier faces the following charges: home invasion and assault and battery. Police say both men entered 243 Lake St. at 11:30 p.m. and started a fight with three people inside. Waltham Police Searching For 'Armed, Dangerous' Person With Watertown Connection

Police are searching for a man in connection with a shooting in Waltham.

Waltham Police are searching for an "armed and dangerous" man involved in a Friday, Dec. 7 shooting in Waltham.  Police say Andre Laventure, 26, is considered armed and dangerous and is possibly with another man named Cameron Fournier. Laventure is driving a black 2000 Dodge Dakota with a Massachusetts plate, 621 NG8, according to police.  Laventure previously lived in Watertown and both men are known to frequent Watertown. LaVenture also has ties to Manchester, New Hampshire.  Waltham Police believe Laventure was involved in an incident they called a shooting, kidnapping and home invasion on Dec. 7. Waltham Pot Bust Update: Watertown Suspect Wants Access To Alleged Pot Warehouse

All three accused will appear in court next month.

While the cases of three defendants involved in a recent marijuana-growing bust were continued until December, one of them is asking for access to his alleged growing warehouse. During a pre-trial hearing at Waltham District Court this morning, former Watertown Town Councilman Thomas “Gus” Bailey, 49, through his attorney, asked for permission to visit the 269 Lexington St. warehouse in Waltham where authorities say he and two other men were growing pot. Attorney Kevin Mahoney, who is representing Bailey, requested that Bailey be allowed into the warehouse to document any damage caused by police when they raided the site last month. Mahoney said his client also wants to take photographs and lockup the building if it not already secured. …

Waltham Man Arrested After Road Rage Incident

The Waltham man allegedly pulled out a knife during a scuffle with another man.

A Waltham man was arrested last week after he allegedly pulled a knife during a fight in Watertown that started with a road rage incident. Vincenzo P. Alonge, 21, of 91 Lauricella Lane, was arrested on Wednesday, May 11, and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and malicious destruction of property more than $250, according to Watertown Police Sgt. Michael Lawn. The two men first began yelling at each other after a traffic altercation at the intersection of Pleasant and Bridge streets in Watertown.
