  • On the article Massachusetts Would See More Than $91.6 Million in Cuts Under Sequester: White House

Look the republicans gave a two month deferral for cuts for Obama's administration.
For Duval Patricck whose a STRONG suporter for Obama - why of course he's not going to blame his old friend Obama but in reality the truth hurt - sad to say President Obama and his administration had failed - like it or not . This is not an issue about what party did wrong this is an issue on the performance and maintaining issues by our president. Our president has the power to control what needs to be done. So I'm sorry to offend all Obama fans but having great popularity doesn't mean Obama did a great job as a president. Obama knows by now on his 2nd term - he can do only what he can no matter who doesn't like what he's doing. In all reality Obama will fail for the 2nd term and cause the defeciet to be at 20 Trillion when he's out of the office. Obama wants the USA to be like Europe even though he won't admit it on LIVE TV. Still tis day 14.4 million African Americans are STILL UNEMPLOYED- second highest are woman. President Obama has alot of problems on his back that he needs to handle careful to the people of this country. I just pray and hope Obama works together with the republicans and resolved these issues soon!

Increasing taxes is not going to help - it will actually hurt alot citizens financially.
I'm surprise Patrick doesn't make any cuts in the State house - cutting programs that really haven't done much through the years in Mass. Patrick needs to do a budget NOT raising taxes. Patrick is actually doing EXACTLY what President Obama is doing spending NOT saving! I really hope Patrick proposal is rejected. There's better ways in getting more financial support then raising taxes on the people of this great state.

Yes it will boost the economy -education and MBTA BUT it's not the right time to do this. The people of this state are hurting. I don't care what the goverment saids they lie - seeing is believing - talk is cheap. There are alot of people who are STILL unemployed and most people are not full-time workers just contractors. So i'm sorry to say i really don't believe in Duval Patrick when he states we are doing well in Mass. - Don't believe that line one bit. Alot of us are STILL struggling to get by in life as it is. Duval Ptrick is absolutely wrong in doing this NOW. Actually in the long run it will help our economy BUT it will also RAISE TAXES on food, gas, durable goods for a LONG TIME - Duval Patrick is best to make CUTS in the State House than trying to SPEND more money and RAISING TAXES. I totally disagree with Duval Patrick in trying to do this NOW- we are ALL still struggling financially!

I really love the way Mitt Romney played defense on President Obama questions.
Romney look like to me to be the President and Obama was the Governor. Obama was lacking on response issues from Roney. Romney was much more sharper, aware, and responsive. I'm an independent I di voted for Obam last time - Obam had his chance for " CHANGE" - didn't work - now I'm definitely voting for Romney. I know there's 2 more debates BUT to my eyes and the public the 1st Debate is the MOST important!

Thanks Lynne - I really hope voters use thier wits and not this party issue. I know about you but they had Mayor Menino on TV saying how he really likes Scott Brown but because he's a republican Menino admits he won't for him unless he was a democrat. What was thta all about - see what I mean - party voting - no common sense in that matter. I really hope voters don't vote like this. We should vote for the canidate that supports the issues we want taken care of - who care what party they are from. I'm an independent in Waterown - I voted for Obama and Brown in the last election - this election I'm voting for Romney and Brown and this has nothing to do with the republican party I see the these two canidates supporting MY issues by thier ways of controlling the matter. Both canidates satisfy my needs and will get my votes. I vote by my heart and what are my needs - I do not vote by party and if you do - then this is why our goverment is SO BAD!

Scott Brown will STILL be our senator for Mass. Scott Brown has democrats on his side supporting him in goverment issues needed for the people of Mass. In ALL Warren ads not ONE Republican was in her ad for her support. Use your common sense - Vote for Scott Brown - he's definitely the better canidate for this job!
