I read mixed reviews on Yelp so I was a little nervous about cleanliness. It was actually clean and bright and I got walk-in service. Li was awesome on my pedicure. Good job on the cuticles, not too pushy in trying to sell callous treatment (I politely declined once and that was enough for her), cut the nails short and square just like I like them, and flawless polish. It's a very dark color (Essie Smokin' Hot) that would show smudges and spillover - but my toes are now perfect. I will definitely go back for a manicure.

This place is great! I stopped by for the first time this past week, and Dave was so cool. It's rare to find a sandwich shop where they don't treat you like a pariah for not eating meat. It was close to closing, too, but making me something simple and vegetarian that was not on the menu was just no problem. I was also happy to learn that they donate extra food at the end of the day to non-profits including the Rescue Mission. As a Patch contributor, I would have loved to write an article, but Dave said Ajay did a few weeks back. I want to read it but now can't find it. Ah well. I recommend Dave's to everyone!

I love this place because the people are so cool. They're not "I'm going to smile because I have to" nice - they're genuinely friendly, seem to like their jobs, and have good advice about what to order. So far I've tried the tofu scramble, the Living Salad (epic), and the veggie burger (good but a little dry). Next visit I will try the vegan cheesecake. Love the bottomless sparking water for 50 cents in the cool jugs. The interior is beautiful too - love the reclaimed wood and high ceiling.
