All 54 kindergartens at the Cunniff School were read the Berenstain Bears' "Trouble with Money" book by bank employee Alicia Root and then discussed the money concepts that were learned from the story, including saving, spending, sharing, income and interest.

Each child received a piggy bank, $1 in coins and a colorful coin chart on which they practiced comparing the values of different coins. This is the second year that we have presented "Teach Children to Save" at Ambrose.
